HS Spring is the result of merging two leading companies within the spring manufacturing industry, Hasco Spring Industries, Inc. and Springco Industries, Inc.

Hasco Spring Industries, Inc. began in 1948 as a Detroit based company manufacturing springs for the automotive industry. Springco Industries Inc. was founded in Ontario in 1967. In 1992, senior management of Hasco, purchased the operating assets of the company and began a program to expand Hasco's operations and develop the company into a full service spring supplier to industrial companies, automotive companies and point-of-purchase companies. Hasco acquired controlling interest in Springco in 2001 and changed its name to HS Spring. As a result of the merger, Louisville, Kentucky became the corporate headquarters in 2002. HS Spring has manufacturing facilities located in Louisville, Kentucky; Jefferson, Ohio and Toronto, Ontario. The company employs 225 people and now has annual sales are in excess of $25 million.

Today, HS Spring is known globally as a leader in the production of counter balance, constant force, power, compression, extension, and torsion springs as well as assemblies for automotive and industrial companies. Its products are also sold throughout the broad spectrum of non-automotive clientele demanding the utmost is quality and precision. HS Spring produces spring assemblies used for point of purchase applications in the retail market. The products include SLIDELINE™ in-store security devices, SLIDELINE™ Pusher stock management systems for shelf displays and the Flexsigns™ retractable signage system.
